Lightenupandshoot had the privilege of interviewing the producer and host of TheCandidFrame, Ibarionex Perello.  Ibarionex is a photographer, writer, educator and producer/host of The Candid Frame, a website dedicated to interviewing some of the most talented photographers across the globe.  The wonderfully produced show not only features some of the most famous photographers in the business, but some undiscovered amateurs that also share their unique vision in photography.

We encourage you to visit The Candid Frame for a source of inspiration, entertainment and as a learning tool to help you explore your own photographic journey.  Ibarionex has a unique interviewing style which pulls out little gems of knowledge from each photographer in his archive of 100 plus interviews. The Candid Frame can be downloaded to an ipod directly from iTunes for free so you can listen to the show from anywhere.  Some of our favorite interviews which have been a source of inspiration are Dan Winters, Jeff Dunas, Jay Maisel and Joe McNally.  At the end of each conversation Ibarionex asks the question, "Can you suggest a photographer for our listeners to discover and explore?  Who would that be and why?"  The conversation ends by leading the listener down a visual journey into a recommended photographer to explore.
