"Eyeballing" The White Balance - Photoshop Tutorial
UPDATE: Thank you Kari Nichols (www.raisinganamazingdaughter.com) for letting me know that this will also work with Adobe Photoshop Elements with the FREE CURVE ACTION (4th action down) FROM www.everydayelementsonline.com
A quick, ok 5 minute tutorial for Two Minute Tuesday's, will we ever be able to keep it under Two Minutes...highly unlikely!!
I'm going to show you a quick trick on how to use Curves and the Eyedropper tool to correct the white balance in your images and remove those ugly color casts even when you don't have a good grey reference point!
In this image I am using the eyeballs, but that doesn't mean that you always have to use the eyeballs. This will work on any image that you can find two very similar sample points. Remember, as long as 2 out of the 3 colors (RED, GREEN or BLUE) are close to 128 your golden!
