Sharpening in Photoshop - WHY? WHERE? WHEN? HOW!
Sharpening has got to be one of the most important parts of your digital workflow! Every image, and I mean every digital image has to be sharpened! Whether you shot it in Raw, Jpeg or scanned it in, it has to go through sharpening to get the best out of the image. As important as sharpening is to an image, it can also cause it's demise! If you don't do it right, you just killed the image. In this long ass tutorial I try to explain how sharpening works. I think it's important to know how something works so that you can use it correctly. In total lightenupandshoot style, I break it down as easily as I could. I might do a recap later if I get too many people who didn't understand!
In any case, enjoy the video, sorry it took so long but it's the best I could do!
Just remember:
Sharpen only when the image is at it's correct output size and DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT sharpen your entire image! Ok, if you have to sharpen your entire image you can. Just look at it logically and use your best judgement!

P.S. If you only have lightroom, you can get away with just sharpening there, this is for the best possible outcome!
