CONGRATULATIONS, and committing to your own photo journey.

I am excited for you, and this will be a BLAST for me – this place is where photography started for me, and where I cut my teeth on learning LIGHT (and that is so very important).   The endless supply of interesting locations, diverse culture and beautiful models gave me the opportunity to practice my craft and was a source for endless inspiration for me.  Enough of the sappy stuff... to put it frankly:  I'm truly elated to do this project, and I am looking forward to meeting you personally.

24th Friday – Orientation / Model & Artist Meet & Greet: Meet at the luxury apartment I have rented on the penthouse level of the building I am staying in.  Go out and have a good dinner - come back early for the big day on Saturday! -3 bedrooms and private bath for each room.  Luxury...bla bla bla...and I'll have a housekeeper to cook breakfast and do laundry a couple of mornings.

25th Saturday – One of the most beautiful pueblos in Colombia:  take this big ass SUV we are going to rent to Santa Fe de Antioquia.  We can stop along the way and photograph interesting characters along the way to the 450-year-old pueblo.  It's hot!!!!  So, we can go for a swim after shooting all day in the sun.  Not much to say:  it's only 450 years old!!!!!  Amazing local farmers to shoot.

26th Sunday – Contemporary History; a little edgy: We are going to visit my friend who has a finca in Guatape - visit the house of Pablo Escobar that lays in ruins. Cool!  Very Cool Location!  Visit the local pueblo and come home.  Lots of interesting characters and tons of chivas (not chicas...chiva buses)

27th Monday – Let’s get a little country: get up early and take the metro cable over the mountain (30 min ride) to a small pueblo in high the mountains called Parque Arvi.  We will rent horses and shoot local farmers.

28th Tuesday – The city of Eternal Spring: Medellin City Tour and day of rest.  Visit Pueblito Paisa, downtown, and maybe check out sunset at Mirador del Las Palmas.  I had my first date in South America up there...great for a romantic photo gathering...hahahahhaa.  We'll take an assistant to carry gear for us since we won't have a car.  I know a super cool guy who looks like he's out of the 1970's to help us.

29th Wednesday – A Private Fashion Shoot.  Fashion, model, maybe a make up artist and some clothes to shoot.  We'll do something cool since this is the fashion capital of South America.  I've shot a lot of models here, so I'm fairly connected.

1st Thursday - Let's play it by ear:   take a day of rest, view our photos and do post production.  Catch up on emails.  Eat a fat dinner.  Not sure...I'm open...but, we will probably be beat up and broken.
